How Sigils Work

The theory behind sigils is that by encoding your intention into a unique symbol and then "charging" it (through meditation, ritual, or simply forgetting about it), you plant the intention deep in your subconscious mind, which then works to manifest the desired outcome.

Creating Effective Sigils

1. Craft Your Intention

• State your desire in present tense, as if already achieved
• Be specific but not overly complex
• Use positive language (what you want, not what you don't want)
• Example: "I am confident in social situations" rather than "I am not anxious"

2. Create the Symbol

Letter Method:

• Remove duplicate letters from your statement
• Combine the remaining unique letters into a single design
• Overlap, rotate, and abstract the letters until they're unrecognizable
• Simplify and refine the design

Free Draw Method:

• Meditate on your intention
• Allow your hand to draw intuitively
• Don't overthink - let it flow naturally
• The symbol should feel right to you

3. Charge the Sigil

Various methods to charge your sigil:

• Meditation: Focus intensely on the sigil while meditating
• Emotional Peak: View the sigil during a moment of strong emotion
• Destruction: Burn, bury, or destroy the physical sigil
• Forgetting: Create it, then deliberately forget about it

4. Release

After charging, the most important step is to release attachment to the outcome. Put the sigil away or destroy it, and forget about your desire. This allows your subconscious to work without interference from your conscious mind.
